La nouvelle Poste Télégraphe Téléphone ouvrira peu avant 1950.

Elle était située auparavant rue de la Gare (Marthe Nollet actuelle).

Sur la chaussée on peut distinguer les rails du tramway et la rue était bordée de chaque côté par des acacias.
